The powerful tool institutional investors are using for returns
Seeking better returns? Diversify with private credit, the multi-trillion dollar asset class can offer higher yields with shorter duration deals.
On Percent, accredited investors can join large institutional investors who are allocating 23% (source) of their portfolio to alternatives like private credit. You’ll find:
High APY: current average of 18.8% (source - Jan 31, 2023)
Shorter-term durations: from 6 months to 36 months
Welcome bonus: up to $500 with your first investment
Diversification: asset based lending, SMB loans, trade finance, litigation finance, consumer loans and more across the US, Canada and Latin America
Leading fund manager KKR (source) expects private credit to return 11.8% annually over the next 5 years – higher than their expectations for the S&P 500, Russell 2000, or US 10 Year Treasuries. OpenAI Villain Story Arc?
I’d guess that this is going to be a big story for the next month or so. OpenAI’s corporate structure is funky. Everyone is biased. I’m still not sure who’s side to be on, but I lean towards the Elon/Andreessen camp. Going to wait for the story to develop a bit more before weighing in more thoroughly. In the meantime, a poll:
Who's team are you on? |
And here’s some of the drama to get you started down the rabbit hole:
